When you receive View sheen's zoom camera modules, you will get three groups of cables and RS485 tail board.

(The RS485 tail board is usually set on the zoom camera module for you)

Why do we need the RS485 tail board?

View sheen’s zoom camera modules have 2 groups of TTL interface: A group of interfaces to transmit the VISCA protocol, the other groups of interfaces to transmit the PELCO protocol. Some Pan-Tilts Unit only support the RS485 interface to transmit the PELCO protocol, so we use RS485 tail board to realize level translator. The RS485 tail board also supports the input and output of alarm signals.

How to Connect RS485 Tail board with camera?

Red frame POWER: power supply and serial port are integrated.

Green frame PHY: network cable interface, 4-pin 100M

Blue frame AUDIO&CVBS: Audio/Analog output.
